Kick-off Meeting in Bari

Under the framework of Erasmus+KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education (Innovation) European Grants International Academy (EGINA) and the University of Bari (UNIBA)  called a Kick-off meeting in Bari to launch the project S.I.L.V.HER.

The project Safeguarding Intangible and Cultural values and heritage (S.I.L.V.HER) connects 5 partners (EGINA, UNIBA, UTAD, Pamukkale Universitesi, Hellenic Open University) coming from Italy, Greece, Portugal, Turkey) together under one goal, which is to develop a blended course in Cultural Heritage. S.I.L.V.HER training path  includes the digital tool, not only as a means of learning, but also and above all as a future means of developing a strategic sector that will support a process of European identity recognition.

The blended, or mixed, course will be divided into two types of activities: online training and transnational mobility as face-to-face training sessions.

This course will be divided into three modules:
– Management of cultural projects;
– Digital storytelling of intangible cultural heritage;
– Augmented and virtual reality in the cultural sector.

To begin implementing the project tasks and activities, EGINA in cooperation with the University of Bari held a kickoff meeting to introduce and plan with the project partners the activities and next steps. The meeting took place from the 14th-16th November in 2018, at the University of Bari, Italy.

The partners are going to launch the call for the aspiring cultural entrepreneurs who aim to create their own cultural projects aimed at cultural heritage digital valorization. The participants will be chosen based on their motivation and project idea, after which they will benefit the online and blended interactive course path created by the project partners to enhance their skills in cultural projects management, digital storytelling of intangible cultural heritage,  augmented and virtual reality in the cultural sector.

The course  path will be followed by 3 transnational mobilities in Italy, Portugal and Turkey.

Now the Universities invite everybody to check the DiCultHer consultation filling the form provided:  https://form.jotformeu.com/81546663684367

The DiCultHer Network School intends to propose as a further reflection on the European year of cultural heritage a public consultation at  various levels of research, training and education to involve these scientific and educational communities in the definition of this difficult, complex, labyrinthine challenge, urging them to provide their contribution to the co-creation of the lines that will define their new cultural heritage, thus substantiating the EU recognition of the new identity that in the future will be an essential component for the knowledge and understanding of contemporary times.
